Store Policy

Returns

We do not offer refunds; items may be returned for store credit (issued as a gift card) within 30 days of order fulfilment. Items must be in new condition with original tags—unworn, unaltered, unwashed, and damage-free. Sale items are final sale and not eligible for store credit.

  • If the purchase was made in CAD, store credit is issued in USD at the exchange rate at the time the credit is issued; at checkout this credit is converted back to CAD.
  • Merchandise returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

Shipping Methods & Rates

We ship worldwide primarily via FedEx. Orders to PO boxes ship via Canada Post. Domestic Canadian shipments may also be sent via Canpar or Canada Post. We cannot ship to Russia at this time.

Processing & Dispatch Times

  • Orders are processed within 3 business days (Mon–Fri, holidays excluded).
  • Hemming adds approximately 7–14 business days.
  • Tracking is emailed once the order is dispatched.

Delays may occur during peak seasons and major product releases. We’ll communicate any significant delays promptly.

Undeliverable Packages

If delivery is unsuccessful, we will attempt to contact the receiver to arrange delivery. Common causes include incorrect addresses or refusal to pay duties/taxes.

  • Abandoned packages are not eligible for refunds or store credit.
  • Returned packages will incur a deduction from store credit equal to return shipping costs (international returns can be substantial).
  • Standard shipping rates apply to reshipments.

Payments & Charges

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Sezzle (split payments). Occasionally, additional identity verification may be required.

All prices are in USD. We reserve the right to cancel any order.

Taxes & Duty

Canada

Applicable taxes apply. Import duties and brokerage fees for deliveries within Canada are covered by Tate + Yoko.

United States

All Canadian-made goods ship duty- and tariff-free to the USA. No sales tax applies, except for orders made via Shop App, which will charge your state’s applicable sales tax (as of Jan 1, 2025).

As of August 1, goods made outside Canada may be subject to US import taxes and tariffs.

European Union

Due to Canada’s Free Trade Agreement with the EU, Naked & Famous Denim ships duty-free to the EU (excluding Japan-made products). EU orders remain subject to local VAT and courier administrative fees.

International

For orders outside the USA & EU, the receiver is responsible for applicable taxes and duties. Please consult local customs regulations.

Lost & Damaged Items

If your package is lost or damaged, contact info@tateandyoko.com immediately with your order number, tracking number, a brief description, and photos (if applicable). We’ll investigate and assist promptly.
